Personal Trainer for Riders
About EQUESTRAINER
The EQUESTRAINER Project was born from the union between a passion for equestrianism and the science of physical exercise. We created the PAR Protocol - Postural Assessment for Riders - to help riders of all levels evolve based on data collected through a Complete Postural Assessment.
What is the PAR Protocol - Postural Assessment for Riders?
The PAR Protocol is a unique ONLINE method developed by EQUESTRAINER that combines a detailed posture analysis, as well as checking stability, mobility, balance, and other parameters to improve your physical condition for equestrian sports.

Personalized Training Workout
An exercise program tailored to your needs, designed to maximize your equestrian performance.
Who am I?
My name is Windsor Fonseca - I am a Personal Trainer specializing in CORE strengthening, certified as a Les Mills CORE instructor and a rider.
I am driven by the pursuit of balance — between body, mind, and horse.
As a rider, I realized that off-saddle training was often neglected, despite being essential for riding performance and harmony with the horse. From this observation, the Equestrian Project was born, and within it, the PAR Protocol – Postural Assessment for Riders, a method that combines technical knowledge, body awareness, and a passion for riding.
My career path also includes Communication and Marketing, areas in which I worked at companies such as Roche Diagnostics and Novo Nordisk, as a product manager, media coordinator, and event coordinator throughout Brazil. This experience instilled in me rigor, clarity, and a commitment to results—principles that I now apply in the development of each rider I work with.
My purpose is to help riders achieve greater body awareness, recommending physical exercises based on data collected during a Complete Postural Assessment, aiming to help them gain more stability, mobility, and balance, ultimately creating a better connection with the horse.

FAQ
-
The PAR Protocol (Postural Assessment for Riders) is a unique ONLINE method developed by EQUESTRAINER that analyzes the rider's posture in detail, both in and out of the saddle, identifying imbalances, asymmetries, and compensations that can affect performance and cause injuries.
-
The PAR Protocol is suitable for riders of all levels - from beginners who want to develop a solid foundation to professional athletes looking to optimize their performance. It is also recommended for riders who experience pain or discomfort during or after riding.
-
The PAR Protocol is performed in two stages: first, we analyze your posture out of the saddle through a Complete ONLINE Postural Assessment along with some specific functional tests. Then, we evaluate your posture in the saddle using materials you provide, observing alignment, posture, and balance in different gaits.
-
The first session lasts approximately 30 minutes. This time includes postural analysis and some functional exercises. Your posture in the saddle will be analyzed as soon as we receive your videos.
-
No. Both the PAR and the training sessions are done exclusively ONLINE.
-
This fundamentally depends on your dedication to performing the exercises. However, the first results are usually noticed between 3-4 weeks, with an improvement in body awareness and a reduction in discomfort. Significant performance improvements occur between 6-12 weeks with consistent training.
-
Yes! One of the main benefits of the protocol is identifying and correcting postural imbalances that cause pain. We develop specific exercises to strengthen the correct muscles and alleviate the compensations that generate discomfort.
-
No. You will need some accessories such as a mat, resistance bands, light dumbbells, and bodyweight exercises. For those with access to a gym, we adapt the program to use the equipment available at your training location.
-
Yes! Although the physical demands vary between show jumping, dressage, endurance riding, or other disciplines, the principles of postural alignment, balance, and core strengthening are fundamental to all of them.
